At Appalachian Animal Clinic, we understand that not all pet health issues happen during normal business hours.
Appalachian Animal Clinic is not only a vet clinic for routine exams, it also is equipped to handle extreme cases of sickness and trauma. Intensive care means that your animal companion has strict monitoring of vital signs, fluid intake and output, pain assessment done regularly and given any medications needed to get your pet home to you as soon as possible. Vital signs that are regularly watched are: blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels and temperature. Our veterinarians directly supervise the care for our intensive care patients and are available in any type of sudden emergency that may occur while your pet is with our staff.
If your pet has an after-hours emergency, we ask our clients to contact Bradley-McMinn Pet Emergency Clinic at 423-336-2822. The veterinarians at Bradley-McMinn provide experienced and compassionate care for pets requiring after-hours emergency care.
